Competencia de los tribunales españoles y ley aplicable a los efectos del matrimonio = Spanish courts jurisdiction and law applicable to marriage effects

This paper is related to troubles arising from marriages between people subject to different personal law from the Spanish International Private Law perspective, both from the process issues –Spanish Courts jurisdiction– as well as issues related to conflict Law; specifically, article 22 of the Ley Organica del Poder Judicial and sections 2 and 3 of the article 9 of the Codigo civil.
