Resumen: Aunque Internet se presenta como un espacio que puede disminuir la distancia entre la ciudadanía y el poder político, los políticos todavía no han desarrollado de forma adecuada las posibilidades que ofrece el ciberespacio. Para comprobar esta situación hemos investigado la forma en que los diputados españoles de la décima legislatura se comunican a través de Internet, mostrando las peculiaridades que presenta la comunicación en cada una de las herramientas virtuales estudiadas y concluyendo que el grado de interacción a través de este medio es todavía bastante bajo.

Abstract: Although Internet appears like a space that can shorten the range between the citizenship and the political power, politicians have still not developed the possibilities that the cyberspace offers. In order to verify this situation we have investigated the form in which Spanish parliamentarians of the X legislature communicate through Internet, showing the peculiarities that the communication displays in each one of the studied virtual tools and concluding that the interaction degree that unfolds through this means is still enough low.
