Resumen: Los conceptos de intervención socioeducativa e intervención ambiental se han venido estudiando como dos aspectos diferentes, con ciertos puntos en común, pero con metodologías y estrategias separadas e inconexas. La finalidad de nuestro artículo es estudiar el proceso de evolución de ambos conceptos, para empezar a construir un modelo, centrado en lo que nosotros hemos querido denominar intervención educativa socioambiental, que aúne ambas intervenciones. Desde esta perspectiva toda intervención ambiental debe tener en cuenta los aspectos educativos y sociales porque las personas, los grupos y las comunidades son los afectados y beneficiarios de las transformaciones en el entorno físico y toda intervención socioeducativa debe contemplar los aspectos ambientales implicados, puesto que ésta siempre se desarrolla en un contexto socio-físico determinado.

Abstract: The concepts of socio-educational and environmental interventions have been studied as two different fields, with some overlap, but with separated and unconnected methods and strategies. The purpose of our article is to study the development of both concepts to build a model, focused on what we have named socio-environmental educational intervention, bringing together both concepts. From this perspective, every environmental intervention should take into account educational and social aspects as individuals, groups and communities are the beneficiaries and the ones affected by the changes in the physical environment and each socio-educational intervention should consider all environmental aspects involved, since it always take place in a certain socio physical context.
