Las demandas del mundo laboral y los planteamientos asumidos en el proceso de convergencia europea, enfrentan a la educacion universitaria al reto de formar profesionales con capacidad para un aprendizaje continuo a lo largo de su vida. Esto conlleva la necesidad de adoptar formas de evaluacion participativas, acordes con este objetivo. Tras presentar las diferentes modalidades de participacion del alumnado universitario en la evaluacion, reflexionamos sobre los condicionantes que afectan a la adopcion de este tipo de practicas. Para finalizar, aportamos una serie de recomendaciones que podrian ser tenidas en cuenta al iniciar experiencias en este ambito. Abstract Labour market demands as well as the requirements assumed in the European convergence process challege the universitary education to train professionals with the ability for lifelong learning. This entails a need to take participative assessment forms that are consistent with this goal. After presenting the different types of universitary students’ participation in the assessment process, this paper considers the determining factors that affect the adoption of such practices. To conclude, some recommendations that can be considered when initiating experiences in this field are given.
