El presente articulo, fruto de un trabajo de investigacion sobre las formas en que los trabajadores sociales de Sevilla llevan a cabo su ejercicio profesional, y cuyo objeto de analisis fue el perfil y caracteristicas tecnicas y profesionales del trabajador social en Sevilla, realiza un acercamiento al fenomeno, siempre presente, del Burnout en este colectivo profesional. Hipotesis inicial: El Burnout en trabajo Social esta especialmente afectado por elementos externos al sujeto. Resultados: Se establecen relaciones con los centros laborales, con las formas de ejercicio profesional, y con el propio contexto social de la profesion. Igualmente se identifican los principales elementos que dificultan y distorsionan el ejercicio profesional. Destacan las caracteristicas demograficas de los profesionales, el nivel de formacion, la relacion con el lugar de trabajo, la falta de recursos, las relaciones laborales y la influencia de la precariedad laboral. Conclusiones: En el Burnout en el trabajador social tienen importancia tanto los factores internos a los sujetos como los contextuales para que se produzca Burnout. En particular destacan las condiciones laborales y las relaciones laborales. This article, is the result of a research on the ways like social workers in Seville conduct their professional practice, and whose analysis object was the profile and technical and professional social worker in Seville. It’s an approach to the burnout phenomenon always present in this professional group. Initial hypothesis: Burnout in Social work is particularly affected by external elements to the subject.
