The view that we live in a changing world is undisputable. This way, two aspects emerge, that of elements that change the world, and that of elements that change in the world. Universities like other entities in the world are elements within these spheres of change. Therefore, universities are part of the changing world, while also are elements that could change the world. This paper roots for an understanding that universities of science and technology have a role to play in changing the world in Kenya. DOI: 10.5901/ajis.2013.v2n2p333
