Wealth creation has been described as a strategic implementation of policies meant to contribute to poverty eradication and thereby focusing on self-empowerment and wage-employment. This goes a long way in boosting the economy. The writers therefore look into real estate investment as one of the major ways of creating wealth in Ekiti State, Nigeria. This was done by x-raying the various facets of real estate where wealth could be created like land titling and registration, rating and taxation, property development and management among others. Challenges associated with the effective and efficient exploration and exploitation were examined with frantic effort towards tackling them. DOI: 10.5901/ajis.2013.2n1p417
