Gibberellin is a vegetable hormone widely used in agriculture and horticulture. The objective of this review was to show the relationship between gibberellins and carbohydrates in vegetable products. Thus, the study concludes that the involvement of substances may be related with the terminal stages of development of various plants. However, the interactions of carbohydrate content and gibberellin are still discussed.   Keywords: Flowers, hormones, enzymes, postharvest.
