Epidermoid cyst of testis: A case report

Epidermoid cysts of testis are benign and rare lesions, comprising about 1-2 % of all testis tumors. They must be distinguished from dermoid cysts or teratomas. Particularly, the distinction from teratoma is much more important because of their malignant potential. A 17-year-old patient with epidermoid cyst in the testis is presented, and the etiology, diagnosis and treatment strategies are discussed in the light of literature. Testiste epidermoid kist: Olgu sunumu Testisin epidermoid kistleri tum testis tumorlerinin % 1-2’sini olusturan benign ve nadir lezyonlardir. Dermoid kistlerden veya teratomlardan ayirt edilmesi gerekir. Ozellikle, malign potansiyeli nedeniyle teratomdan ayirimi daha fazla onemlidir.
