Email still plays an important role in today’s\udbusiness communication thanks to its simplicity,\udflexibility, low cost, and compatibility of diversified\udtypes of information. However processing the large\udamount of emails received consumes tremendous time\udand human power for a business. In order to quickly\uddeciphering information and locate business-related\udinformation from emails received from a business, a\udcomputerized solution is required. In this paper, we have\udproposed a comprehensive mechanism to extract\udimportant information from emails. The proposed\udsolution integrates semantic web technology with natural\udlanguage processing and information retrieval. It enables\udautomatic extraction of important entities from an email\udand makes batch processing of business emails efficient.\udThe proposed mechanism has been used in a\udTransportation company.\u
