Facial Expression is a key component in evaluating\uda person's feelings, intentions and characteristics. Facial\udExpression is an important part of human-computer interaction\udand has the potential to play an equal important role in humancomputer\udinteraction. The aim of this paper is bring together\udtwo areas in which are Artificial Neural Network (ANN) and KNearest\udNeighbor (K-NN) applying for facial expression\udclassification. We propose the ANN_KNN model using ANN\udand K-NN classifier. ICA is used to extract facial features. The\udratios feature is the input of K-NN classifier. We apply\udANN_KNN model for seven basic facial expression\udclassifications (anger, fear, surprise, sad, happy, disgust and\udneutral) on JAFEE database. The classifying precision 92.38%\udhas been showed the feasibility of our proposal model
