Astronomy, the most ancient of Sciences, has always been present as part of the Cultural Background of all peopies. The present paper, after reasserting the importance of Astronomy in the curricula of Intermediate levels of learning, describes and studies the characteristics and pedagógical possibilities of an ensemble of ancient instruments. In this first part, these instruments are devoted to the study of the Sun's Geocéntrical motion and its consequences.
