CANADIAN FOREST A CCFM CONFERENCE ON THE "TIMBER SUPPLY IN SERVICE PROGRAMS CANADA CHALLENGES AND CHOICES" AT RISK At the Timber Supply Conference held at Kananaskis, 15-18 November 1994, many participants emphasized the importance of effective programs of research in all aspects of fmsz development. Concern was expressed for the present status of such programs and prospects for the future and the progressive weakening of Canada's capacity for research particularly by the Canadian Forest Service (CFS), the agency that undertakes a high propomon of the Nation's forest resources research.
