Spontaneous haemopneumothorax is a rare clinical condition with a simultaneous accumulation of air and blood in the pleural cavity with no trauma or other causes. It is occurred in 0.5%-12% of spontaneous pneumothorax. Diagnosis is performed by chest x-ray. Spontaneous haemopneumothorax caused by pleural adhesion between the parietal and visceral pleura or rupture of the vascularized bullae. Early diagnosis and appropriate surgical treatment can prevent fatal complications. In this report we aimed to present two cases of spontaneous haemopneumothorax.
