Handicraft activity (craft) is a holistic professional activity aimed at the production of goods and services for individual orders, in small batches and to meet the utilitarian, aesthetic, everyday needs of citizens and economic objects. Craftsman – a skilled worker, the head of a craft enterprise directly involved in the production of products and the provision of services of recognized quality for individual orders in small, medium-sized enterprises or the process of individual entrepreneurial activity At the present stage of economic development, an important role is played by small and medium-sized enterprises, most of which are handicrafts. Such enterprises need highly qualified artisan workers who possess not only technical skills but also issues of organizing production, economic and legal knowledge.
