ABSTRAT The use of agricultural airplane for deposition grass seed on soy field is common. This produced dry mass for notillage and feed cattle. However, the sowing is carried through with deliverers of solid products of the aircraft. Thus, this work had the objective to verify the height of flight that supplies the best distribution of seeds in the distribution band, as well as evaluating the methodology for such evaluation. For in such a way, receiving collectors in area with soy in reproductive period (R8.1). After the deposition of the mixture of grass seeds Brachiaria decumbens cv. Marandu + Pennisetum glaucum for the aircraft in four heights of flight (4, 8, 10 and 15 m), determined seed mass of each species. The heights of flights 4, 8 and 10 meters had presented homogeneous distribution of grass seeds, in the band of distribution of the aircraft. Also it was verified that how much bigger the amount of launched seed lesser is the variability of the distribution. The deposition of seeds was inferior to the values calibrated in the ground. For in such a way, the methodology if showed adequate for evaluations of deposits of solid products in aerial applications.
