The forest roadways is composed of diverse ways of access, whose purpose is to take care of to the necessities of load transport and services, as also the activities of prevention and control the fires. The reforestation areas will have to present, a priori, a basic road net with good conditions of trafegability to allow the implantation and maintenance of the stands. The disposal of this tracing will have to admit the insertion of the complementary road net for the occasion of the wood harvest; however, the planning will have to assure the productive activities reducing the ambient impacts. This work aims to present technical parameters important to be used in planning, constructing and maintaining roadways in commercial forests. These parameters are meant to maintain a balance between social and economical aspects, and the technical and environmental viability, as a way to achieve enterprise sustainability.
