A RELEVÂNCIA DA CULTURA NO CUIDADO ÀS FAMÍLIAS

RESUMO. Este estudo tem como objetivo refletir sobre a relevância da cultura no cuidado as familias, pois conhecer seus valores, crencas, mitos, costumes e tradicoes, enfim a cultura do individuo e o seu contexto sociofamiliar sao fundamentais para o desenvolvimento das praticas de saude eficientes e de qualidade. Nele abordaremos a influencia da cultura no comportamento, na interpretacao do processo saude-doenca e nas praticas de assistencia/cuidado proprios de cada familia. Apontamos a necessidade de os profissionais de saude considerarem a cultura no processo de assistir/cuidar, para que este seja congruente com as reais necessidades das familias. This study it has as objective to reflect on the relevance of the culture in the care to families, therefore to know its values, beliefs, myths, customs and traditions, at last, the culture of the individual and its partner-familiar context are basic for the development of practical of health the efficient ones and quality. In it we will approach the influence of the culture in the behavior, the interpretation of the process health-illness and in the practical ones of care proper of each family. It points with respect to the necessity of the health professionals to consider the culture in process of care, so that this is congruente with reals necessities of the families.
