Violence is constant in peoples daily life, if we consider the act of aggression to a person in every aspect, physical, moral or psychological. This is influenced by the social context, established security system, and how questions about daily aggression are perceived and experienced. This paper was developed trying to uncover what children understand about domestic violence. The aim is to: identify the childrens notion about domestic violence. This paper is descriptive and exploratory. The technique used to collect data was the semistructured interview, made with 13 children at the age from 8 to 11 years old, in a Curitibas district, based on the resolution 196/96 MS-BR, about Research in Human Being. After data discussion and analysis weve reached the following categories; for the VIOLENCE CONCEPT; have: Fight and kill, Drugs use, Verbal aggression; DEFINING DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: Parents fight, Parents and children fight; on SUGGESTING SOLUTION To forbid the use of the drugs, To avoit fight and that to love and respect the one e Religiosity. Those categorias give us a central one: THE DOMESTIC VIOLENCEAND POSSIBLE SOLUTION.We could conclude that the domestic environment contributes to the violence when there isnt dialogue among family members.
