Descriptive study that had for objective to identify perception of the caregivers of the peoples with some dependence degree on the attendance domiciliar accomplished by the team of Health of the Family. The data were collected in the months of April to June of 2001 with the 19 caregivers through semi-structured interview. The results, besides they revealed some characteristics of the caregivers, they also demonstrated that although the population identifies as satisfied with the offered attendance, she possesses doubts in relation to the form of attendance of PSF and several expectations with relationship to the same. The presented suggestions involve improvement in the quality and expansion in the types of offered services, besides continuity of the program. The authors evaluate to be necessary larger concern on the part of ESF with the activities developed with this segment of the population, because they consider that the needs noticed by the families/ caregivers constitutes important condition for the result of the attendance.
