GRUPO FOCAL – ESTRATÉGIA METODOLÓGICA QUALITATIVA: UM ENSAIO TEÓRICO

O artigo tem como objetivo abordar fundamentos teoricos sobre a tecnica de Grupo Focal como Estrategia Metodologica Qualitativa. Abrange os aspectos objetivos e subjetivos do trabalho em grupo, bem como o papel do moderador e do(s) observador(es) como facilitadores do processo grupal. Destaca a importância das etapas sucessivas para a investigacao atraves dos Grupos Focais e enfatiza a selecao dos participantes como tarefa relevante para o alcance dos objetivos da pesquisa. Focus Group – qualitative methodology strategy: a theoretical essay Abstract The article aims to approach theoretical fundamentals on Focus Group technique as a Qualitative Methodology Strategy. It entails objective and subjective aspects of team work, as well the role of the mediator and observer(s) as team process facilitators. It points out the importance of the sucessive stages for the Focus Group investigation and emphasizes the participant’s selection as a significant task to achieve research goals.
