Actitudes hacia la estadística en la formación del profesorado para contextos multiculturales

En esta investigacion se ha caracterizado las actitudes hacia la estadistica en la formacion del profesorado para contexto multiculturales. Es un estudio cuantitativo sustentado en diseno Ex post facto donde se suministro una escala de actitud hacia la estadistica a 276 estudiantes universitarios de grados de ciencias de la educacion de la Universidad de las Regiones Autonomas de la Costa Caribe Nicaraguense. Se realizo un analisis descriptivo de los datos, un analisis de correlaciones de las categorias, pruebas t de student, analisis de varianza y prueba HSD-Tukey con el paquete estadistico para las ciencias sociales SPSS. Los resultados muestran que la actitud del estudiantado ante la estadistica es positiva; que los componentes afectivo, cognitivo, valor se correlacionan positivamente lo que hace que disminuya la dificultad hacia la estadistica; hombres y mujeres tienen el mismo grado de actitud hacia la estadistica; y finalmente que existen diferencias significativas entre los componentes actitudinales en funcion de la variable especialidad a favor de las especialidades en educacion intercultural, ingles y cultura fisica. Se concluye, que las actitudes hacia la estadistica en la formacion de profesores para contextos multiculturales es un elemento caracteristico en la formacion, y puede influir en la formacion de las actitudes de sus futuros estudiantes. Summary This research aimed to characterize the attitudes toward statistics in teacher’s training for multicultural context. It is a quantitative study based on an Ex post facto design, in which we applied a statistical attitude scale to 276 undergraduate students of Educational Sciences from the University of the Autonomous Regions of the Caribbean Coast of Nicaragua. We performed a descriptive analysis of data, an analysis of correlation of categories, student t tests, analysis of variance and a HSD-Tukey test with the statistical package for the social sciences (SPSS). The results show that the attitude of the students towards statistics is positive; that the affective, cognitive and value components are positively interrelated, and therefore this reduces the difficulty of statistics; that men and women have the same level of attitude toward statistics, and finally that there are significant differences among Intercultural Education, English and Physical Culture specialties. We conclude that the attitudes towards statistics in the training of teachers for multicultural contexts is a characteristic element in the training, and thus, it can influence the attitudinal training of their future students.
