Saberes profissionais de professoras de educação infantil: a mediação de conflitos entre crianças

Esse artigo decorre de uma pesquisa concluida sobre saberes profissionais de professoras de educacao infantil, diante de momentos de conflitos que ocorrem entre criancas no cotidiano escolar. Teve como questao de pesquisa: quais sao os saberes profissionais mobilizados por professoras da educacao infantil, em situacoes de conflito entre criancas? O objetivo foi identificar, a partir das vozes de professoras, quais sao os saberes construidos por essas profissionais para lidar com situacoes de conflitos entre criancas nas praticas pedagogicas da educacao infantil. Trata-se de uma pesquisa na perspectiva qualitativa, descritiva e exploratoria e que teve, como participantes, professoras da rede municipal de ensino de uma cidade do interior do Estado de Sao Paulo, que atuam em creches municipais. Entre os resultados, destacam-se o dialogo, a aproximacao com as familias e a compreensao da dinâmica do desenvolvimento infantil como saberes dessas profissionais. Conclui-se que esses saberes sao importantes processos mobilizados como ferramentas de mediacao de conflitos entre criancas e precisam ser compartilhados, refletidos e valorizados no âmbito da docencia na educacao infantil. Educacao Infantil PROFESSIONAL SKILLS OF EARLY EDUCATION TEACHERS: CHILDREN CONFLICT MEDIATION Abstract : This article results from a completed undergraduate research project on early education teachers’ professional skills harnessed when conflicts among children occur in school life. The research question was: What are the professional skills exercised by early education teaching professionals in situations of conflict among children? The objective was to identify, by listening to teachers, what are the skills developed by those professionals to handle children conflict situations in early education teaching practices. This is qualitative, descriptive and exploratory research, and the participants were teachers from city-run day care centers in a Sao Paulo State country town. Among the results are the dialogue, the approach with families and the understanding of the child development dynamics as the main skills of these professionals. We conclude that these skills are important processes deployed as tools to mediate conflicts among children and need to be shared, valued and reflected in early education teaching.
