The patient’s medical history didn’t reveal any findings related to neck irradiation, family history of parathyroid or calcium problems, nor any organ cancers. The laboratory tests showed severe hypercalcemia, a 7-fold increase in serum PTH concentration, high creatinine and normal phospate serum levels.
