Early Neolithic agriculture in Southwest Asia and Europe: re-examining the archaeobotanical evidence

Agriculture is widely recognized as a defining characteristic of the Neolithic period in Southwest Asia and Europe, but, despite many years of research, and the discovery of much new arch a eobotanical evidence, there have been few attempts to investigate its origins and spread in the region as a whole.
