Akciger enfeksiyonlarinin tanisinda goruntuleme yontemleri anahtar rol oynamaktadir. Anahtar kelimeler: Akciger, bilgisayarli tomografi, pnomoni, tuberkuloz Abstract Lung infections affect millions of people every year and carry a great risk of morbidity and mortality for old and immune compromised patients, whose population is increasing continuously. This disease also has an important economic issue because of high treatment costs and loss of manpower. Radiologic tests play a key role in the diagnosis of lung infections. Conventional lung graphy is the primary test for localization and determination of the extension of the lesions but computed tomography (CT) reveals the extension sooner. However, the exact diagnosis cannot be possible only with constant radiological findings. Environmental conditions, infection history, the type, severity and period of immune deficiency and the pattern of radiological findings give important clues for determining the causative agent of infection. Common radiological findings and the differential diagnosis of lung infections and tuberculosis are studied in this review.
