Cases with foreign bodies in the bladder are rarely seen. According to studies, it has been reported that foreign bodies were removed from the bladder. Etiology of these cases are iatrogenic causes, migration from adjacent organs, tissues and self-insertion. In this case, we present a foreign body in the bladder in a psychosexually healthy male secondary to self urethral catheterization. We aimed to carry out a review based on previous studies on foreign bodies in bladder, self urethral catheterization after urethral stenosis treatment and its results. (JAREM 2012; 2: 82-4)
