Building Information Modelling is an emerging area of technology which deals with the process of creating and using design models for design, construction and operation of projects. However, it is still in its nascent stage in developing countries and suffers due to various barriers which hinder its development and adoption. Present research work deals with recognizing such barriers in adoption of BIM in developing countries like India and further studying the interrelationships amongst them using ISM methodology.
