problems are multi-constrained and NP-Hard problems. This paper deals with the faculty assignment problem. Objective of this paper is to assign the faculty to exam halls. This problem is tested on real world dataset from Rajarambapu institute of technology. This paper attempts to solve the problem by using particle swarm optimization algorithm and its variation and analysis of both approaches are shown.
