e research proposes a "conceptual- ERP-framework" for a smart factory during technology diffusion "mega-projects". Application of knowledge discovery and classification algorithms is applied to draw probabilistic inferences based on FP-Growth-algorithm without ignoring the "balanced scorecard (BSC)-model-driven architecture" which is embedded with business intelligence. The prime objective being to illuminate research and scholarly understanding for strategic-alignment of design of vital artifacts of Enterprise resource planning systems (ERP) through collaborative- multidiscipline initiatives amongst the disciplines of "Software- Engineering, Engineering-Management, and Business Science" to overcome the challenges of designing an ERP-system.
