Psicoterapia orientada al conflicto – Psicoterapia orientada a la estructura

The present work proposes a differentiation between the pathologies determinedby the conflict and those that are due to disturbances at the level of the structure. It characterizes a functional conception of the structure and lists the capacities that constitute it. It establishes the differences and articulations between the conflict and the structure, as well as between the disturbances that derive from them. It differentiates the psychotherapeutic strategies that are applied in one case and in another based on the following parameters: framing, therapeutic position, focus hierarchy, work with relational patterns, types of interventions. In the final part, the structural approach is illustrated with a clinical case and the accent is placed on the need to carry out an accurate assessment of the weight of both factors in the initial evaluation, prior to the start of psychotherapy.
