Experiencia clínica de Psicoterapia Grupal contextual en adolescentes con problemas emocionales

This work aims to communicate the experience obtained from the application of a group psychotherapeutic intervention from the contextual model in adolescents with emotional problems referred to a mental health centre. We will focus first on the clinical characteristics of adolescents attending mental health consultation and the needs they present. second, we will briefly describe the contextual model as well as the therapies that form the basis for such intervention and that are brought together under this model: acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Functional analytic Psychotherapy. Third, we will thoroughly present the dynamics introduced in psychotherapeutic sessions and lessons learned by adolescents. Finally, we will point out the conclusions and the most important implications of this work.
