Aportaciones del Neuropsicólogo en un Hospital General, desde la Unidad de Interconsulta y Enlace del Servicio de Psiquiatría

The purpose of this article is to describe the clinical work of the neuropsychologist in a General Medical Hospital. We present a summary of this experience, developed at the Hospital Universitario 12 de Octubre, by: 1) the definition of the functions of the neuropsychologist, 2) the description of areas and causes of intervention; and 3) as an illustration, an accurate look at the working instruments most commonly used in neuropsychological assessment at the liaison unit which is part of the Psychiatry Service.
