Frente a la Ciencia Contemporánea: La Función del Analista hacia el Real

The aim of this article is to differentiate between the positions of the analyst in the clinic, in relation with the reality surrounding the patient, starting from the symptom. It tries to bring forward the growing importance of affirming the irreducibility of the reality as an opportunity for the subject to decide towards the dimension of desire, as opposed to the eagerness to fulfil the demands that seems to engage contemporary science.
