La Orientación y tutoría universitaria: una aproximación actual

Desde el inicio del siglo actual, la institucion universitaria se encuentra inmersa en una profunda transformacion. En este marco la orientacion y la tutoria universitaria constituyen un tema mayor en la Educacion Superior. La moderna concepcion (Life designing)  enfatiza dos factores fundamentales: el compromiso de la persona en la construccion del propio proyecto de vida a traves de una reflexion regular y sistematica y el necesario acompanamiento por profesionales en diferentes modalidades y contextos. Todo un reto para la reflexion y la respuesta creativa de la orientacion y tutoria en las instituciones universitarias. Por ello son numerosas las innovaciones en la accion tutorial, promovidas por docentes o a nivel institucional en las universidades para lograr implantar sistemas de orientacion y tutoria, apoyadas en las nuevas tecnologias y progresos cientificos, que respondan a las necesidades detectadas. Todo ello esta generando una dinamica innovadora y un revulsivo estructural en los centros universitarios, en la consecucion de una mayor calidad en la Educacion Superior. A este respecto, los trabajos que componen el presente Monografico constituyen un mosaico de practicas de intervencion en los entornos de la institucion universitaria. ABSTRACT Guidance and tutoring university: current  approximation  Since the beginning of this century, University has been experiencing a profound transformation. In this framework, the guidance and tutoring are a major issue in Higher Education. The modern Life designing conception highlights two fundamental factors: the commitment of the person in the construction of the life-project through systematic reflection and the need for professional support in different forms and contexts: a challenge for reflection and creative response of guidance and mentoring at universities. This is why innovations in tutoring are so numerous, promoted at universities either by teachers or by governance in order to achieve the implementation of guidance and tutoring systems, based on new technologies and scientific developments that respond to identified needs. This is generating an innovative dynamics and a structural renovation at universities, achieving a better Higher Education quality. Thus, the studies included in this paper constitute a mosaic of intervention practices in University.
