New jobs and research dedicated to the history of revolutionary syndicalism, a trend of the labor movement whose centrality has not had the impact expected in the historiographic field, begins to raise the overcoming of that situation. The port area, more specifically the group of workers on board, was a core of trade union militancy. The article presents a review of the works on the history of this political tendency in Argentina and of the researchs that focus on the history of the union where they had a substantial role, the FOM, together with the advances of our own investigation as well as the problems found so far.
