The main objective of this article is to discuss in a conceptual way the influence of the virtual language in the process of literacy of students in elementary school. So, it was possible to understand that the new technologies are extremely important, especially in the school environment, since the technological age inserts children and young people earlier in this virtual universe, making a potential facilitator in the mediation of disciplinary contents when applied such Tools for education. When one considers that the Internet has created and continues to create a kind of dialect common to its users, it is noticed that its influence in the process of literacy is so great. While the important thing is to be able to identify the situations through the networks in which it is possible to communicate in a more colloquial way and which situations demand greater care with the learned writing of the language, what makes multiletramento a suitable tool for the education of these new Generations. The justification for choosing the theme is its contemporaneity, in addition to the expectation of contributing to the academic field.
