Recurrent hypoglycaemia in HIV-positive narcotic addicts

We describe two narcotic addict women with recurrent hypoglycaemic episodes. In both patients, hyperinsulinaemic hypoglycaemia occurring in the fasting state was documented and computed tomography of the pancreas was normal.
