Case report of a 5-year-old child with Savant Syndrome (Savant autism) A 5-year-old child was presented, who is displaying evidence of Savant phenomenon (calendrical calculations in this child) in initial examinations. Detailed investigation yielded the diagnosis of atypical autism with normal cognitive aptitude and at least one savantism. The case is depicted due to its diagnostic difficulty and the rarity of the phenomenon. The results otherwise correspond to current literature.
