A case is reported of intrarenal pseudoaneurysm 1 month after partial nephrectomy in a 67-year-old male patient. The clinical evolution was marked by gross haematuria and resultant clotting of the bladder. Computed tomography showed a cystic lesion filled with contrast medium at the site of the tumour resection. Angiography documented a pseudoaneurysm in the lower pole of the right kidney. During the same angiography the segmental renal artery feeding the pseudoaneurysm was selectively embolised without significant loss of renal function. The clinical presentation, diagnosis and treatment of this rare complication are discussed.
