A six-month infant admitted to our clinic with complaints of cough, vomiting and fever presenting since one week. The previous clinic he admitted had began antibiotics but his complaints were increased in the last three days. Physical examination revealed hiperemic pharynx. Other systemic examination and laboratory findings were within normal ranges. On chest x-ray, an opacity on right upper zone was seen. Thorax BT revealed right thymic lobe hyperplasia as the variant of normal. In infants thymic hyperplasia must be kept in mind in the differantial diagnosis of anterior mediastinal masses and upper lobe pneumonia.
