One of the most important causes of blindness in developed countries is glaucoma. Trabeculectomy surgery is the gold standard method performed in glaucoma patients. The most important factor affecting the success of trabeculectomy is the wound healing process in the surgical area and studies for slow down this process continue. Experimental researches are taking the lead in these studies and trabeculectomy models are created by several methods. In this study we report an experimental rabbit model of trabeculectomy
