La relation poids-longueur et le facteur de condition sont des parametres ayant plusieurs utilites en biologie des poissons et en gestion des pecheries. Un echantillonnage a ete fait pendant huit jours dans le lac Bam et le reservoir de la Kompienga pour etudier la relation poids-longueur et le facteur de condition de Clarias anguillaris et de Sarotherodon galilaeus . Une difference significative de poids et de longueur existe entre les populations des deux sites. Les populations du reservoir de la Kompienga ont une longueur plus grande que celle du lac Bam. La croissance de C. anguillaris est allometrique positive dans les deux sites. Pour S. galilaeus la croissance est allometrique negative au lac Bam mais s’avere positive au reservoir de la Kompienga. Pour C. anguillaris , une difference significative du facteur de condition existe entre le lac Bam et le reservoir de la Kompienga. Par contre, pour S. galilaeus aucune difference significative n’existe entre le lac Bam et le reservoir de la Kompienga. Le modele de croissance dans le lac Bam compare a celui du reservoir de la Kompienga explique le niveau avance de degradation de l’ecosysteme du lac Bam. © 2018 International Formulae Group. Sampling was done for eight days per site in August 2017 in the Kompienga and Bam water reservoirs to investigate the weight-length relationship and condition factor of Clarias anguillaris and Sarotherodon galilaeus . A significant difference in weight and length exists between the two populations. The populations of the Kompienga reservoir are longer than those of Lake Bam. Growth of C. anguillaris is positive allometric at both sites. For S. galilaeus the growth is negative allometric to Lake Bam but positive to the reservoir of Kompienga. For C. anguillaris , a significant difference in the condition factor exists between Lake Bam and the Kompienga Reservoir. On the other hand, for S. galilaeus no significant difference between Lake  Bam and the Kompienga reservoir. The growth pattern in Lake Bam compared to that of the Kompienga reservoir explains the advanced level of degradation of the Lake Bam ecosystem. © 2018 International Formulae Group.
