Shortly after the above revision appeared in Bothalia 7: 669-768 (April, 1962), the D irector o f the Berlin-Dahlem H erbarium inform ed me that several missing types o f Chlorophytum had recently been found am ongst the late Prof. Dr. W erderm ann’s papers. The latter had recovered them from the ruins o f Baron von Poellnitz’s house after it had been bom bed in Novem ber 1945 during the Second W orld W ar. The sheets were sent on loan to PRE and as a result the following observations were m ade.
