Dolore e lesioni croniche cutanee

Pain modulation represents a fundamental pivot in the management of Chronic Skin Lesions (CSL), mainly compromising the quality of life of the patient. The control of algic symptomatology is one of the main factors that pushes the patient to turn to health personnel. For a correct approach to pain in the CSL, it is necessary to evaluate the etiology of the lesion, its temporal course, the type of patient, the concomitant pathologies and the pathophysiological mechanisms that underlie the modulation of pain. Starting from the analysis of 121 patients suffering from CSL, the authors evaluate the incidence and intensity of pain, then doing a review of the frequently administered analgesic drugs.
