The Journal of Food and Agriculture launched its first issue in 2008. After a decade and two years, a time has reached for recalling past challengers that the journal faced while accomplishing successful publications of many research findings. Timely publication of the manuscripts was the major hindrance that the journal faced in the past. Since 2018, the journal has been obliging to the Journal Publishing Practices Standards (JPSS) established by the International Network for the Availability of Scientific Publications (INASP) by changing the format of the first page of the articles with ORCiD and Copyright statement.
