Economia Popular e Solidária e desenvolvimento local: relação protagonizada pela organicidade das iniciativas

The aim of this study is to analyze, based on the Program called Incubator of Popular and Solidarity Economy Initiatives (of the Universi- dade Estadual de Feira de Santana, State of Bahia, Brazil), elements which contribute to Popular and Solidarity Economy becoming a strategy for the solidary local development. In this sense, a reflec- tion is made on the basis of what agents or initia- tives that have participated in an incubation pro- cess from 2008 to 2012 think of this economy. For this purpose, some categories are distinguished: (a) Popular and Solidarity Economy as a strategy for local development; (b) guidance, popular orga- nicity and solidary local development; (c) agents or initiatives of Popular and Solidarity Economy for solidary development; (d) and the university incubator as a coordinating agent of the Popular and Solidarity Economy for solidary local devel- opment. It was possible to conclude that this pro- gram can actually be considered a major agent which articulates the other agents or initiatives of this economy for solidary local development by in- terweaving wisdoms, diverse forms of knowledge and public policies of incubation.
