New records of introduced fish in the Desaguadero River Basin in central-western Argentina

Three new records of introduced fish in San Juan province, Argentina are reported: two Siluriformes, Hypostomus commersoni and Pimelodella laticeps , and one Cyprinodontiform, namely Gambusia affinis . We register the presence of H. commersoni and G. affinis in the Desaguadero River Basin for the first time and extend the distribution of P. laticeps within the basin.
