This article aims to discuss the differential modalities of teaching, contained in the National curriculum guidelines of basic education. By using the concepts of recognition and redistribution, we discuss the Sociology teaching in basic education and its contribution to the expansion of social rights by means of its methodology and its curriculum, contributing to institutionalization of emerging issues in Human Rights.
