La formation des enseignants dans le cadre de l’éducation à l’environnement pour un développement durable : problèmes didactiques

In France, within the framework of the National Strategy for Sustainability, a specific section is devoted to Environmental Education for Sustainability (EES). Classical ways of teaching appear inadequate to this aim. Thus, teachers' training is a major challenge in primary and secondary schools. This is the reason why we suggest integrating four essential backgrounds for teacher training renovation : epistemology of the notion of sustainability, socioscientific issues in education, curricular analysis, and psychological and pedagogical analysis.
